RAMBLING GROUP
(Ten to Ten)
In the December of the old year the 10 to 10ers combined a short walk with our usual Christmas meal at the Ship in Tiptree. Once again our thanks to the Ship for their hospitality and excellent service.
In January in an attempt to avoid winter mud, we had planned to make a circular walk from Little Dunmow to Great Dunmow and back but as you know the weather closed in and the roads and the footpaths were treacherous. In the end our walkers very sensibly felt that the risks were just too great and we shall keep this promising walk for a later date.
With our fingers crossed for better weather we plan to visit Old Leigh for our February walk. If you like relaxed and friendly company and walks of moderate speed and distance then consider joining us. You would be most welcome. We start at 10 to 10 outside the old church hall in London Road on the second Saturday in every month.
